decided to post since i'm home alone on a sunday. Dad didn't want me to sit in the same car to church coz he was sick so he forced me to stay home. he might as well move out of the house just in case he infects the whole house right? hate being home on sundays. sunday is church day. i want to go to my own church to worship my God and i can't even do it. sucks. i'm not even going to bother studying coz i don't have the mood to do so. thanks alot.

anyways, O levels start on tuesday. feeling quite scared now. it seems like i can never finish studying everything. there is always something i don't know. i just can't wait for this to be over. haih..

wassup world? long time no post... too busy and lazy, heh. so anyways...i was at a friends house for her birthday party yesterday! her house.... was massively huge! hahaha she's like some super rich kid who has everything she could possibly ask for and MORE so yeah... we didn't know what to get her so we got her a pile of poop =) like seriously.... hahaha. it was a cushion with beans inside in the shape of a pile of shit... cool right? i liked it alot =) i hope someone can get me a pile of shit for my birthday next year.

the party was okayyy i guess... i had to pick some ppl up from another frens house and they wanted to go early so i was forced to be at her house an hour before the party started and it was super boring coz not many ppl were there. everything was much funner after everyone started ooooozing in slowly. i met this really really cute girl, hahaha (it's not what u think, she was like...3??? and nooo im not a paedo XD). she was the birthday girls niece or cousin or something. there was loads of beer for everyone, unfortunately for me i don't drink coz my body is like super sensitive to alcohol and i had to drive. we spoilt a fan and the lift in her house also.... who knows what else they spoilt after i left aye? yeahh...it was pretty fun i guess =)

todays YW was excellent =) i thought josh and team did an awesome job, thankfully by the grace of the LORD! haha. ooo and i met a new friend who can play alot of instruments and he taught me a little bit on the drums! he's younger than i am and that makes me feel a little jealous but heyy, we shudn't be prideful when it comes to learning =) i had an awesome time learning from him! and he shares the same name as a friend of mine, ian tay =)

well well well...haha it's been a pretty long time since i last blogged so yeah here goes.

Just so you know, i was having O level prelims and didn't have the time to come online, let alone post anything. oh, and i forgot to mention i was too lazy to post after my prelims hehehehe. so life has been rather good. God has been very good, infact, He's been too good to me altho i know i don't deserve anything, heh. well over the past few weeks i've been studying very hard coz indeed i want to study in singapore and i know that i need like super duper good results to qualify so yeah, it was a really really difficult task coz i'm known to be a super slacker. but by His grace, i made it... and praise the LORD, so far so good in terms of my results!

anyhow, prelims are over and now is the HARI RAYA SEASON!! haha i know, im chinese (altho some of you church ppl always think im malay just coz i come from malaysia and i can't even write my own chinese name) but i'm looking forward to visit my malay frens! haha get to eat all those scrumptious malay cuisine that i seldom get to eat!! =)

on a last note, SELAMAT HARI RAYA to everyone and happy studying all you singaporean muggers!!! bleah, studying FTW! weeeee! may God bless all of you and i'm sure He'll be faithful to pull you thru this time! In everything we do, we do to bring Him all the glory. so yeah, study hard so you'll be able to boast to everyone that you did all things thru Christ who strengthened you. do i hear an AMEN?! haha see ya'll!

well i haven't really posted properly for quite some time now so i guess i shall =) . Today was FUN! =D Went to church in the morning and had SAG! wahaha first session of the year and it was super fun! To sam: it's okay being short =) be appreciative and thank God for it aye? Youth Worship was really meaningful today =) Thank You God for using Su wan to lead so well!! =)

Soooo, after DCG, we had CAKE!!! (dun ask me why i used pink). Chocolate fudge! haha you guys still owe me money =) can pay in ringgit if u want to lol.. Jason's belated bday..haha i thought it went quite well just that the guys had a little toooo much fun tau pok-ing each other, lol.

We went to IMM for lunch, was supposed to eat subway (which i had been craving for agesss) but ended up going to fish & co. instead haha but the food there was okay as well =). After that I had to rush off coz someone decided to spoil my plans =( but it was fun =) (altho i did miss the part where Jason had to stand on the chair in the middle of IMM where everyone could see him and the rest of us sang him the Fish & co. bday song). well thats it i guess!

John Newton, a captain of a slave ship wrote this song after his conversion and it speaks or TRUE transformation =). First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM =)!!! Hope you had a wonderful day today =)

wellll, yesterday was rather tiring. Had a marching competition in the morning. we lost =( sad huh? well nth much I can say about that actually so yeahhh. but all of us did really really well =)! so anyway, after that i went to church for the final lesson of SFG(Spiritual Formation Group). It's been a year since we started this course and well personally i benefitted aloooottt from it =). One of the most important things I learnt during this leadership course is knowing how to trust God when making decisions as well as asking Him to tell us what decisions to make through much prayer and seeking. however, I must say that it's really not easy. it's really hard to wait upon God for answers when ur struggling and impatient and can't sleep well and can't concentrate coz that certain something is bothering you alot... in fact, it's much easier to make decisions on your own sometimes... but God is gracious and merciful..

He has given us verses like these to remind us that we shud wait upon Him and be strong and courages for He will definately answer us when we need answers =). How great is our God!

hello world=) we had youth sunday today=)! technically it's not today already=D it was awesome singing and dancing for God! great job everybody=) then we had games after that! it was super fun la! but where are all the people huh! so sad=( it's okay you guys can come next time=D i love jess shorts and she loved mine!=) yay!! hahah! that was alil random=) actuall, i dont need to tell you what we played! just look down=DDD hahah=)

kim and i had dance after the games=) at like 645! so we went back to change and stuff first=) learnt alot of difficult steps! hah! anyways! i have decided to audition for tv shows and movies and stuff! hahah=) cos i really like acting and this might be a good exposure for me=) and i have aunty selinaaa to help me=) hopefully i can be on tv! wahaha! then i can see myself at the same time! i always thought that was cool=DDD

Youth Sunday was really cool =) !! I thought Sean Tan and Beatrice were really very brave and did a wonderful job leading worship eventhough they have/had exams and stuff going on. And I must say Ian Tan made me really proud today. Improving so much in such a short time.. haha Ian, ur going to be a pro in no time so keep practising really hard aye? Everyone did very well too! The dancers were all rather shy during the first service but I believe Geri did some talking and managed to pull up their confidence. It was really good during the 2nd service.

We had games after that, and although only very few people turned up (probably due to exams), it was super fun. We played Whacko(ouch!) and Captains Ball using a small "fun" sized rugby ball. hahaha totally awesome mann.. Li Jian scored like 5 points and even took home the final point of the game.

Well for all you ppl who didn't wanna come, too bad for you coz we had a super awesome time =) . God is truly the God Almighty(El-Shaddai).

wassup ya'll?? I had Open Day at sch this morning! surprisingly, my dad only said "results not very good, must work harder okay?" hahaha... I thought I did moderately well. Anyways, after that my friends and I went to Giant to shop for things(I think we over spent) we need for tomorrow as we are opening a food and drink stall during the Festival Of Arts =) . Anyways, went to church today and played guitar for Youth Worship. However, something was wrong with the guitar and thus I had to play without any amplifier... well, all in all I thought YW went very well.. Two thumbs up for Tessa and Kim!! =) And praise God for guiding the worship thoughout... PJ's message was also a very good one. I'm really glad I have God, friends and family =)

Helloo people.. I read something really cool posted by someone. What he said is based on the song, Heart Of Worship. Check it out:

Here's a song by Matt Redman that he apparently wrote for his church's worship band. He wanted to remind them of the true reason why they were playing - that it was for God, not for themselves. How true it is that we sometimes get caught up in the music rather than worshiping God for who He is.

With regards to what I just posted, I strongly encourage all musicians/worship leaders/ushers/back-up singers or anyone who is Serving God to search your hearts thoroughly before serving Him. Please know that in worshipping and praising God, we need to always be at our best and give Him all of ourselves and not just half of what we have (e.g half our minds/hearts). The same goes when we play an instrument or lead worship because it IS A FORM OF WORSHIP.

I speak from experience when I tell you this- Serving God OUT of His will only leads to unfruitful and unproductive service. I have been playing the guitar for God's Worship Ministry for about 4 years now. And I must admit that initially, I agreed to join the Worship Ministry because I COULD play the guitar, not because God wanted me in that ministry. Well, if you are very much like how I was, then I suggest you really search ur hearts intentions and pray for a humble spirit when it comes to serving the Lord.

hellooo! Today was a rather normal day. Went to school, had a few lessons, teachers didn't enter class, came home, took a nap, went for tuition and..... I went DRIVING!! This has only been the 2nd time i have driven since I got my driving license like 3 weeks ago. And I'm proud to say that I haven't knocked, smashed, killed anything yet! Thank God for keeping me safe thus far(altho only twice). Weee!!

hello world(: i've something cool to tell you guys(:

after dinner with papi, my sister and i went back home for DANCE[:)] my phone went seriously cranky so my mumsy lent me her spare spare phone, without a sim card in it. i forgot to bring my sim card down so i cant use that phone. then mumsy lent me her spare phone, the one which has a sim card in it, so i left the one without a sim card phone on the backseat of the car. forgetting to inform that i left the phone there, i hopped off the car and skipped to dance lessons. after dance, mumsy came to pick me up, at the same time buy something to munch for herself. so i returned mumsy her spare phone, the one with the sim card in it, and told her about the spare spare phone, the one without a sim card, that i left behind on the car seat. then she was like telling she hasn't seen it. i was like "HUH?!!! REALLY??? oh O!!!" so i frantically went to check the back seat and the back back seat and under the seats. wah! i was really panicking! so after a tedious search, mumsy was super upset and angry, so she drove us back first and she parked the car at the carpark below our unit and left me to continue searching for it.

so i was like thinking, "carrying on searching like this aint gonna work! what to do when you feel this lost? PRAY!!!!!!!!" so i said a quick prayer. AND amazingly, i found the phone in one of the seat pouches within less than like 2 minutes!!! SERIOUSLLLLYYY!!! NO JOKEEE!!!

GOD is like sooo amazing la!!! He's just too cool, man! so i went back and immediately told my family what happen! super cool!!!!! dont you think so? GOD answers all prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

helloo everyone! Because of exhaustion yesterday I didn't post so I shall squish two posts in one today..

So, yesterday was kinda weird... I went to school to practise a song(Wonderwall, Oasis) for my St. John teacher who is going to retire tmr. Reached school at 9.30 and went home at 10.30. Not long after, my dad, sis and I drove up to S'pore coz he had some work and I had worship practise at like 2.00.
Here comes the most amazing part of yesterday... I went down to the Chapel to set-up everything at 2 and some guy came to me and told me that he had already booked that place to be used from 2.00-4.30. I was abit confused because initially I thought I had already booked the Chapel so I went up to the church office and found out that there was alot of miscommunication and I ended up booking the Chapel on the 7th of June (I was at church camp). After all that, I took some time to say a small prayer to God and asked Him to just make everything work out... Weelll to cut the long story short, we were able to use the sanctuary after the main service musicians had finished with their worship prac...God is good aye?? He answered that small teeeneee weeeneee prayer of mine in like 5 minutes...AWESOMENESS! worship prac went super duper well!! yay!! thanks God and thanks team!
We had Spiritual Formation after that and it was a rather meaningful discussion that my group had too... everything that happened after that was rather blurrry to me coz I was too tired and hardly remember anything except that I ate kuey chap!!

TODAY!!~ It has been a rather interesting day for me... Not too long ago I was praying that God would test my faith so that I knew how strong I was and how much I trusted in Him and today He really did... praise God that I managed to commit everything that went wrong over the past few days to Him and totally surrender everything to Him... Unfortuantely I shall not say anything about what happened today. Hahaha sorry to keep you all in suspense and stuff but yeah... It's a private matter. Anyway, I thought Youth Worship went rather well and I do hope that God is pleased with us aye? Thanks again team for doing such and awesome job and glorifying God. And thank You Lord! ~JC OUT!~

Wassupp world!!! today was kinda boring, as usual. Apart from napping, nothing has been exciting at all. I kinda went to school and did nothing which is a total waste of time.. I guess that's how malaysia's education system is like aye? So anyway, I started thinking.. what would life be if God had not chosen to save me?? And among the billions and billions of people that have, are and about to walk the Earth, why choose me? think about that wouldn't you?

We all know the famous and amazing Bible verse, John 3:16 and yet sometimes we don't really see the significance of this verse. If my facts are correct, no other religion in this world teaches it's followers that a God would actually come down to earth and sacrifice himself for the sake of mere human beings. Awesome ain't it? God came to earth to die for us and to give us eternal life in Him.. however, we literally take what He did for granted when we sin so consciously and freely against Him. I'm really very thankful that my God has such a big big heart and patience... think about this as well...there are currently almost 7 billion ppl living in the world as i ramble on and on today...let's just estimate that each human on earth sins against God 20 times a day...that would already be 140 billion sins against God each day... now, multiply that with a week, and then a month and then a year...then, imagine how long this world has been created... how long has God been enduring our sins??

Something I watched really disturbed me and has been disturbing me for the past one week.. it was during church camp when my frens and I were watching the reality TV show "Identity". During one of the shows, there was a female missionary who was wearing FAR too little for a person claiming to be a slave of God. That got me thinking as well... am I being a good testimony and example to the ppl around me especially to those whom have not known Christ?? haha sorry for such a preachy post today but please do think about these things if u have read this... it's really important that we live our lives for Christ for what He has done for us. Pray for transformation in your lives aye?? ~peace ya'll~
